If you were unable to attend today's luncheon meeting featuring author/speaker Lenora Worth, you missed a good one! Every chair was filled and speaking of that, our brains were filled with excellent tips on writing the perfect category romance novel. She offered a Top Ten List of excellent suggestions. Lenora surprised us all toward the end of her presentation with a fun game she purchased online called "The Storymatic." She pulled two cards, character and setting or motivation and invited us to come up with a story. FUN!

The meeting was inspirational for me. I went home and rewrote the opening paragraph of my book. No, it did not involve a safe... but it did have a child in it!
